We specialize in all types of patio structures like multi-level light and heavy structures, trellis, arbors, gazebos, solid roofed covers to keep sun and rain out. A patio cover is a shade structure that is attached to the house with typically two posts or columns supporting the outer perimeter portion of patio cover.
The roof of a patio cover may be open or solid depending on what level of protection you are seeking. These patio covers can also be freestanding with a minimum for 4 posts. All our structures are built to local city and county specifications or better using Douglas Fir #2 or better exposed resawn lumber. Beams and joists can have decorative corbel cuts at ends. Post base brackets have decorative wood covers. These structures have a prime/sealer coat and painted once prior to constructing and then one finish coat of paint after constructing.
Southwest Landscape uses only the best sealers and paints available to contractors. All structures are built using screws and bolts, the only nails used are the ones specified by the manufacturer to fasten brackets to lumber. This type of work usually will need to have plans with specification drawn up for a permit which is provided by Southwest Landscape.
